65th Season Opener · America’s 250th Birthday

America’s Story at 250 Years with Chris Bradley

To open our 65th season, the KCB will present moments in our nation’s 250-year history through music—both instrumental and vocal, visual imagery, and stories. Assisting the KCB with this celebration will be Chris Bradley, a Scottish conductor and Scotland’s most heralded cornet soloist. To add vocals to several pieces, the Kalamazoo Community Chorale and the Kalamazoo Male Chorus will join the Chenery stage. Honoring the brave and the sacrificing, there will be music to move you and events to cheer. It will be a celebration in music to remember.

Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Chenery Auditorium. Admission is FREE — no tickets required, just show up! Free parking is available on site.

Doors open at 6:00 PM — enjoy pre-concert music by the KCB Fab 5 Woodwind Quintet in the lobby, plus sweets, snacks, and sips at the concessions stand.
